Geothermal Favorability Map from GIS Modeling - Great Basin, US

 

 

 

ATLAS has extensive experience in GIS applications for a variety of applications, with geothermal-related applications highlighted here.  The map at the right is Nevada Bureau of Mines Map 151 (see link below, Coolbaugh et al., 2005) showing the geothermal favorability of areas in the Great Basin of the US constructed from GIS modeling of several geologic and geophysical data sets to determine areas of greatest geothermal potential (reds, oranges and yellows)
